Rain rain, go away! All plans of enjoying some beach time during Local Summer have been derailed thanks to this storm and the weather from Hurricane Florence that looks like it'll hit sometime this week, but even rain looks pretty by the water — especially when paired with a Ludlam Island IPA.

If you go to a tourist trap during the off-season, are you still a shoobie? Tourist trap or not, The Lobster House has some incredible seafood and scenery to match. As you can see, I'm holding on to the very last of the warmer weather as long as I can!

Friendsmas brunch and a quick visit to the beach to enjoy an uncharacteristically warm winter day. I think Mad Batter might be my favorite breakfast spot in all of NJ!
