The show must go on, I guess — even if it's only for a few passengers at a time. Can you count how many canceled flights are on the board?
Not super stoked that we're still flying, however, I am grateful to still have a job and a paycheck and the hope that things will return to a relative normal sooner rather than later.

One major thing I noticed over this bachelorette weekend was the ratio of men to women at this resort???? I think the 12 of us made up 50% of the females here. Check out the boys really enjoying themselves in a big tub of foam.

This very well may be the last international trip I'll be taking for quite some time as more and more countries close up their borders (and rightfully so). Glad to have had it with these ladies! Paid a little extra to be able to use these beach cabanas every day and it was SO worth it.
March 2020
Well, if there's one place we shouldn't have been during this COVID-19 issue it's at a resort with about a billion other people. Nonetheless, I'd say this was a successful bachelorette party for Samantha!

After two HYPE flights to party cities Nashville and Vegas (legit almost sold out of all of our alcohol), my crew convinced me to drink some alcohol myself even though it was 3am Eastern time and my body was ready to die. This spicy margarita was exactly what I needed

Finally made it to Ten 10! Having been in Orlando for almost a year now, I imagined I'd have made it to way more of the local breweries at this point. But what I didn't know when moving here is that Orlando's traffic is fricken horrendous, which makes getting anywhere a project and a half — one that I try to avoid at all costs.
With another year in a somewhat more central part of Orlando I hope to be able to cross some more breweries off the list.

Thought I had it made when Lufthansa upgraded me to premium economy, but they really outdid themselves when I ended up in Business class bc economy was full. Y'all, idk if I'll ever be able to fly economy again. Had like a 15-course meal and the seats laid all the way flat. I felt like a QUEEN in my little pod.

Had a moment with a cute surf perro as we both realized we are living the dream! Watched the surfers brave the cool weather as I sat back with a beer (and eventually a hot tea to stay warm).

On this morning, my Spanish guide had a job interview so I was left to fend for myself for a bit. Killed some time sleeping until noon… and then wandered the streets looking for some brunch. Thanks to @duolingo I managed to order coffee, water, food, AND pay the bill

I have very limited wine knowledge but I knew enough to know this was good enough to order a second glass! (It was a Merlot, I think?) Also, those cheese spreads were POPPIN'. One was spicy and one sweet, but idk what they were because the server described them in Spanish

Having grown up in a beach town I know that the off-season can be a little slow. But 'slow' is an understatement for Mallorca's beach towns, where just about every restaurant, bar, hotel, you-name-it were closed and boarded up for the season.
Managed to find one busy little bar that was still open, called Sa Cabana, for a quick beer and bocadillo (sandwich)

And my destination was... España! I paid off my credit card and hit a 50-day streak on my Duolingo Spanish lessons so Mallorca just seemed like the right way to treat myself. I did lose my drone somewhere in Sa Calobra (see second picture) so the trip turned out to be a lot more expensive than planned but all I could do was have a beer about it
