Can we make Margarita Moonshine Mondays a thing...? Thanks Bill Nichols for introducing me to Jersey Shine moonshine (and for taking better photos of it than I can).

What's better than a mojito made with mint picked fresh from the garden? A homemade soaped-up slip-n-slide to make a friendly game of flip cup just a litttttttle bit more challenging. And a lot more dangerous.

Thought a photo next to the fire was fitting because that's exactly how my mouth felt after embarking on a hot sauce taste test. Not to toot my own horn here, but I'm pretty good with heat. However, a couple of these almost got the best of me. If you want to give it a go yourself, beware of the Tabasco Scorpion Sauce (it's a lingerer) and the Da Bomb Beyond Insanity which I could literally feel burning in my ear canals.

What better way to spending a weekend than celebrating love? Congrats to the new Mr. And Mrs., had such a fun time at your wedding! So... Who's next?

Tried to make it down to Longport for a beach day. On a holiday weekend. Yeah, it didn't exactly go as planned — spent far too much time looking for a parking spot. Finally got a prime space right here, but JP didn't have as much luck so we drove over to Ocean City instead, only to realize we didn't have beach tags to get onto the beach. FINALLY found a beach that we could access, though, and got some time on the sand and in the water.

Finally made it out to the Stateside distillery to give their drinks a try! Loved the little tiki guy my drink came in, but Dustin got the best vodka + coffee drink in all the land.

It's been 95°+ in the city, so I only lasted about 20 mins out here before walking inside for some relief. But thanks Evil Genius for the Swedish Fish IPA, much needed hydration.

Fell asleep before 9pm after spending the whole day on the beach, consequently waking up at 4am. Tried for 45 minutes to fall back asleep to no avail. JP convinced me (all the way from Vietnam) to go catch the sunrise and even though I contested at first, it was worth it (with a little help from Wawa coffee, of course).
