Couldn't leave Ireland without getting a traditional Irish breakfast: eggs, sausage, potatoes, white and black pudding (just eat them, don't ask what they are), beans, bacon, and bread.
Check out the faces of the ensuing food coma.
This was the cutest little restaurant and breakfast really hit the spot!

At the age where if a bar is crowded, I don't wanna be there. Entered and swiftly exited 3+ bars before finally finding solace at the Dáil Bar, whose crowd was lively but not overwhelming. Scoped out police badges from close to home, as well as some cool ones like Homeland Security and the Secret Service. Also, just a heads up, don't draw a smiley face in your Guinness foam here because the bartender WILL take your drink back (just ask Sinead).

While Dublin and Galway are charming in their own right, it's quaint seaside towns like Lisdoonvarna that I really love.
The first time we were here, we drove through in a huge tour bus that I was surprised even made it through the streets! This time we had our own car and stopped into the Irish Arms for a truly authentic Irish meal.

A day of castle-hopping along N67, ending at the Cliffs of Moher. From what Sinead and Dustin told me, this coffee was simply NOT great but it warmed my hands and was useful for a photo.

A trip to Galway is incomplete without a stop (or 2) into The King's Head, whether you're looking for live music and strong drinks or freaking delicious spiced wings.
November 2019
Quick stop for coffee before heading to Galway! Had way too much luggage to be in this cute little coffee shop but worth the chai tea latte.

Did you really go to Dublin if you didn't visit THE Temple Bar? Also, can we talk about those holiday decorations.
November 2019
It was v cold in Ireland and, as per usual, I didn't dress warm enough. This bar came in clutch with those heater thingys that let us sit outside without freezing our bootys off.

Y'all if you're ever in Dublin you MUST get the Shepherd (no 'S' at the of that, apparently) Pie from Lundy Foot’s. I am still dreaming about it.
Maybe skip the espresso martini tho.

First stop in Ireland, naturally: the Guinness Storehouse. Came here on my first visit to Ireland but my memory of much of it seems to be lost in a hangover fog…
November 2019
Next stop on the road to Dublin: a quick layover in Germany! Like a true American, I treated myself to a McDonald's breakfast before boarding the next flight. Also, can we talk about that huge Airbus A380!?

Ireland here I come! First visited Ireland almost 4 years ago and vowed to go back. Time to make good on that promise, even if it's only for a few days! Hitched a ride with Lufthansa with a stop in Frankfurt, Germany before finally landing in Dublin.
